Membership Designations

Association of Forensic Accounting Researchers (ARAR) is an organization that seeks to make impact as a not-for-profit making organization who combines both academic and professional qualities in researching into forensic related matters in order to bring about reduction in the incidences of corruption in terms of white-collar crime and other fraudulent activities in the world. AFAR uphold the regulations of the forensic and fraud investigation professions by setting high ethical and professional standards for her members in order to in turn create an ethical and value-driven society.

Entrance Assessments

At all level of membership, prospective members must take entrance assessments, except for Professors or candidates seeking admission as FFAR who may opt for the submission of two original articles which shall be subjected to double-blind review before acceptance or forward not less than 5 already published articles in a high impact journal of international standard.

There is no waiver of entrance assessment at all levels. No additional assessment fee other than application fee which is non-refundable.


Continual Education

All categories of AFAR members are required to earn a minimum of 30 credit hours of continual professional education per year to ensure they remain updated, educated and relevant in the field of forensics.
